Welcome to easystudy.in. At easystudy, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website to access syllabi, Previous Year Questions (PYQs), notes, videos, and textbooks.
Personal Data: Name, email address, and academic details (college, course, etc.) provided during registration.
Financial Information & Verification (Rewards Program): If you participate in our rewards program, we collect your UPI ID and Valid ID Proof (PAN card, Aadhaar card, etc.) to verify identity and facilitate reward payments for submitted materials.
Usage Data: Log files, time spent on specific study materials, subject interaction, and navigation patterns within the app.
Device Information: Device ID, model, operating system version, IP address, Android Advertising ID, and FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) Tokens used to deliver push notifications to your device.
We use your data to:
Provide educational services and personalized study recommendations.
Process Reward Payments: Use your provided UPI ID and ID proof to send monetary rewards for approved material submissions.
Push Notifications: Send real-time alerts regarding submission status (Approval/Rejection) and broadcast updates for new academic resources, PYQs, notes, and syllabus changes.
Monitor app performance and fix technical bugs.
Comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
To provide a seamless experience, we use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Sign-In & Google Play Services: Used for secure account registration, login, core app functionality, and account management.
Google Firebase (FCM, Analytics & Crashlytics): Used to deliver real-time push notifications, analyze app performance, understand usage patterns, and track crash reports.
YouTube API: Used to display and play educational video lectures.
Payment Gateways & UPI Apps: To facilitate secure transfers of rewards to your bank account.
Advertising (Google AdMob & Partners): To keep our content free, ads are served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners (AppLovin, InMobi, Meta Audience Network, and Unity Ads). These providers may collect your device's Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, and interaction data to serve relevant ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.
Your Choices: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). EEA and UK users are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown and can adjust preferences anytime.
We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. We provide easy ways to delete your data:
In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data—including your saved device tokens (FCM Tokens) and profile information—directly through the Settings screen in the easystudy app.
Web Request: You can request deletion via our dedicated portal at https://easystudy.in/account-deletion or by emailing us at support@easystudy.in.
Timeline: Upon request, we will delete your personal data from our active servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We implement industry-standard security protocols and encryption (including SSL) to protect your personal information and sensitive details (such as UPI ID and verification documents). However, no internet transmission method is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
easystudy is intended for college and university students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact support@easystudy.in and we will delete it promptly.
