Welcome to easystudy. This mobile application and website are owned and operated by SMART WORKS (Proprietor: Tarique Anwer). At easystudy.in, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app to access syllabi, PYQs, notes, videos, and textbooks.
Personal Data: Name, email address, and academic details (college, course, etc.) provided during registration.
Financial Information: If you participate in our rewards program, we collect your UPI ID to facilitate the transfer of reward amounts for your submitted materials.
Usage Data: Log files, time spent on specific study materials, and navigation patterns.
Device Information: Device ID, model, operating system version, IP address, and FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) Tokens used to enable the delivery of push notifications to your device.
We use your data to:
Provide educational services and personalized study recommendations.
Process Reward Payments: Use your provided UPI ID to send monetary rewards for approved material submissions.
Send push notifications for new PYQs and syllabus updates.
Monitor app performance and fix technical bugs.
Comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
Push Notifications: We use your data to send real-time alerts regarding the status of your material submissions (Approval/Rejection) and broadcast notifications for new academic resources, PYQs, and syllabus updates.
To provide a seamless experience, we use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Play Services: For app functionality and account management.
Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics: To understand app usage and crashes.
YouTube API: To play educational lecture videos.
Payment Gateways/UPI Apps: To facilitate the transfer of rewards to your account.
Google Firebase (FCM & Analytics): We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications and Firebase Analytics to understand app performance and usage patterns.
We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. We provide two easy ways to delete your data:
In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data—including your saved device tokens—directly through the Settings screen in the easystudy app.
Web Request: You can request deletion via our dedicated portal:
Timeline: Upon request, we will delete your personal data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We implement industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your data, including your sensitive UPI information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our services are intended for students. If you are under the age of 13, please use this app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
