Welcome to easystudy. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the easystudy mobile application, the website easystudy.in, and related services (together, the "Platform"), including syllabi, PYQs, notes, videos, textbooks, tests, the AI Doubt Solver, the rewards program and games. The Platform is owned and operated by SMART WORKS (Proprietor: Tarique Anwer).
By accessing or using easystudy, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and share your information. If you do not agree, please stop using the Platform.
By downloading, accessing or using easystudy, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. These Terms apply to all users, including students, professors, visitors and registered members.
easystudy is intended for college and university students. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform.
2.1 Registration: You can register with your name, email address and password, or sign in with Google. You agree to give accurate information and keep it up to date, including any optional profile details (phone number, profile photo, university, college, course and department).
2.2 Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us at support@easystudy.in if you believe your account has been misused.
2.3 One Account per Person: Each person may hold only one account. Creating multiple or fake accounts, including to earn referral credits or coins, is not allowed.
3.1 Ownership: All content available on easystudy, including syllabus information, Previous Year Questions (PYQs), notes, summaries, explanations, tests, logos, icons, UI designs and graphics, is the intellectual property of SMART WORKS or its respective content providers and is protected under Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.
3.2 License to Users: We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to access and use the content strictly for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
3.3 Restrictions: You agree not to copy, distribute, sell or reshare content; upload Platform materials to third-party platforms; or use automated tools or bots to scrape data from the Platform.
4.1 What You Can Submit: You may submit study materials (PDF files) to our rewards program, assignment solutions (PDF or image files), questions and photos to the AI Doubt Solver, reports about other players, and messages to our support team.
4.2 Your Rights and Responsibilities: By submitting study materials or assignment solutions, you confirm that you own the rights to the content or have permission to share it, and that it is not plagiarized, misleading, offensive or unlawful.
4.3 License You Grant Us: You grant SMART WORKS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display and distribute approved study materials on the Platform. Approved and published materials may remain available to other students without your name even after you delete your account.
4.4 Review: Authorized EasyStudy staff review submitted content. We may approve, reject or remove any submission at our discretion.
5.1 Monetary Rewards: To encourage quality educational contributions, SMART WORKS may offer monetary rewards for approved material submissions and allow you to redeem coins earned on the Platform.
5.2 Information Required: To receive a reward or redeem coins, you must provide a valid UPI ID. To verify your identity and eligibility and to prevent fraud, we may also ask for your date of birth and a photo of your college or other ID card. This information is used only to review your request and process your payment, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Accuracy: You are solely responsible for giving the correct UPI ID. SMART WORKS is not liable for failed or misdirected payments caused by incorrect details you provide.
5.4 Approval: Reward eligibility, payment amounts and coin redemption are decided at the sole discretion of SMART WORKS, based on the quality and relevance of the submitted material and the result of verification.
5.5 Coins: Coins have no cash value except through redemption on the Platform, cannot be transferred or sold, and may be cancelled if earned through fraud, abuse or a violation of these Terms. We may change the rules, rates or availability of coins and rewards at any time.
5.6 Referrals: Referral codes may be applied when you register or install the app from a referral link. Referral credits obtained through fake accounts, self-referrals or other misuse may be withheld or reversed.
5.7 Records: Records of reward payments made to you (name, UPI ID, amount and date) are kept for 8 years from the date of payment, as required for Indian tax and accounting records.
When you take tests, mock tests or class tests, we record your answers, scores and results.
If you take a class test created by a professor, that professor can see your answers and results for that test. Professors are responsible for the tests they create.
You agree not to cheat, share test answers or misuse tests in any way.
Questions and photos you send to the AI Doubt Solver are sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate an answer and are handled by that provider under its own terms. We do not store them on our servers after the answer is returned.
Answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. Always check them against your textbooks, notes or teachers before relying on them.
Do not include personal or sensitive information in your questions or photos, and do not use the AI Doubt Solver for unlawful, harmful or dishonest purposes, including cheating in exams.
When you use Games, other students can see your name, profile photo, game ID and online status when they look you up, add you as a friend or play a match with you.
You agree to play fairly and respectfully. Cheating, harassment, abusive behaviour or offensive names and photos are not allowed. You can report other players, and we may restrict or block accounts that break these rules.
You agree not to:
Upload plagiarized, copyrighted (without permission), misleading, offensive or unlawful content.
Commit or attempt fraud, including fake accounts, false identity documents, or manipulating coins, rewards or referrals.
Harass, threaten or impersonate other users or our staff.
Interfere with the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, or reverse-engineer the app.
Click on ads artificially or use any method to generate invalid ad activity.
10.1 How to Delete: You can delete your account at any time:
In the app: Settings → Delete Account.
On the web: through our portal at https://easystudy.in/account-deletion, or by emailing support@easystudy.in.
10.2 What Happens: You are signed out on all devices and your account is deactivated immediately. 30 days after your request, we permanently delete your personal data, including your profile information, device (FCM) tokens, ID card images, date of birth, uploaded files, game data and support messages. If a reward payment is still owed to you, deletion waits until that payment has been completed. In other players' match history, your name is replaced with "Deleted player".
10.3 What We May Keep: Reward payment records (Section 5.7), approved study materials without your name (Section 4.3), limited information needed to prevent fraud or abuse, and copies in server backups until they are overwritten. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
10.4 Termination by Us: SMART WORKS may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity or submit plagiarized materials, and may cancel pending coins or rewards connected with that violation.
The app shows ads to keep our content free. Ads are served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners (AppLovin, InMobi, Meta Audience Network and Unity Ads), whose use of data is governed by their own privacy policies. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
The Platform also uses Google Sign-In, Google Play Services, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Gemini, YouTube, payment gateways/UPI apps and a third-party hosting provider. Some lecture videos open on YouTube, where YouTube's own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not claim ownership of third-party materials and are not responsible for their content or practices.
By creating an account, you agree to receive push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), including the status of your material submissions (Pending, Approved or Rejected), reward updates, and notices about new academic resources, PYQs and syllabus updates. You can manage notifications in your device settings, but turning them off may mean you miss real-time updates on submissions and rewards.
easystudy strives to provide accurate academic content, but we do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy. Syllabi and PYQs are subject to university updates. All content, including AI Doubt Solver answers and user-submitted materials, is provided "as is" for reference only. Please read our Disclaimer for more details.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMART WORKS and its proprietor shall not be liable for any academic loss, data loss, failed or delayed reward payments caused by incorrect user details or third-party payment services, or technical issues resulting from the use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the app. Continuing to use the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the district where the proprietor resides.
